Off-Brand Magnets

Anyone here ever used the off-brand magnets that are used to mount pumps inside the tank? I just received my Tunze Streams today but was told that the Tunze magnets are on backorder, possibly as far back as Christmas! I was thinking of trying the generic brand instead.

I went the super generic route and made my own out of some neoydium magnets, a little 2" pvc, a little acrylic, and some superglue. Each one cost me about $3 and works amazingly well.

Just kidding, actually I'm not too bad. In all honesty I'm just lazy. Maybe I could hit you up to draw a plan of those magnets for me at Louis's party???

Better yet I'll bring em so you can see for yourself how I did it. It was a pretty fun and easy DIY. Most DIY's are fun but not easy, this one is pretty trivial especially if you have a Dremmel.

I'm a huge Floydaholic, and an avid David Gilmour fan these days.
Can't forgive RW for causing the band to split.
