Oh MY GOD!!! MANTHIS SHRIMP on my Naso tang

PLEASE HELP!!!

This little shrimp is stuck on the dorsal fin of my newly acquired Naso Tang... What do I do? I can't catch it in my reef...

Possibly a parasitic copepod? Go to Google images and type in CIROLANID

Does it look that those critters?

Physical removal is the only option I can think of in a reef tank. Dylox has been used in NON-reefs, but it is highly toxic.

Hmmmm,

People responding to your same post in another forum just figured you were a day late with an April Fool's prank - which is what I thought at first, but you never know...... so I say "cirolanid isopod" if you're question was legit and a "pffffft" if you were just a day late with a weak joke.
