I have a juvenile pair that is going through sexing (I think) one I noticed the other day wasn't coming out to feed, this went on for a few days, last night it was real bleached then later would return to normal, today it's down on the sanbed breathing is a little more rapid than the other, So I've been doing water changes but I think it's too late any advice? Note : color looks good and isn't skinny. Maybe possibly it's not a worthy mate or?

Gosh, I've never heard of the sexing causing color changing or difficulties breathing. It sounds more like it has gotten sick with something

Its possible that it may have gotten stuck in the rock work and couldn't get out. Once he got out he was likely very stressed and tired.

Another option would be that he is sick, possibly early stages of brookynella.
