ok down to 4 skimmers for my 200g w 55g sump what do you guys think?

Reef Octo makes great products, I voted for the bigger one(you can stock more).

The ASM's were great in their time but it's outdated technology when compared to the other skimmers. RO has a bubble plate ASM doesn't, RO has a conical body ASM doesn't, RO has a water level adjustment ASM doesn't, RO has much better pumps, venturies, and wheels ASM doesn't. I am not bashing ASM, just stating the features of the skimmers you are looking at.

I personally wouldn't even put the ASM in a list with the new Reef Octopus/MSX/SWC skimmers.

i agree and i own an asm g2. they are just outdated, not keeping up with the compitition

Id never buy Octopus again... worst skimmer Ive ever owned was the 250 Pro. Lousy pump, even worse customer service. Look into Warner Marine's stuff, if you want my opinion. Awesome equipment, even better owner.

Yuo might want to spend the extre $ and get the reeflo orca 250 that is for sale on rc he droped the price to 650.00 I have this skimmer they are great
