Whats up guys...

I have a 144 Gal Half-Circle Display on my first floor, a 72 Gal Bow-front Show fuge and a 60 Gal Sump in the basement...

I want to add another tank to the system, most likely another 72 Gal Bow Front, using the same sump as well...

I know that a Seahorse tank would not work due to normal reef temps (~79-80 deg.) so...

What are some suggestions for another tank on the system?

BTW I have a snowflake eel in my fuge right now... what I am planning to do is make my fuge more into a lagoon tank as well (no fish though)...

So any suggestions with pics would be great...

Are you looking for suggestion on what to put into the new tank or if you can do it? If you are looking for what to put into it check out frogfish or scorpionfish.

I don't know what kind of room you have :), but a lfs had two 144's put together in a full circle and it was really neat looking.

lol...That is a cool Idea.. but I wish I had the $$$$$$$ for that...

But believe me I have put enough into the main display already... lol...

To be alittle more descriptive, I am gonna keep this tank in the basement as well and I wanted to know what to put into this new tank....

I did check out Melev's new angle tank.... very interesting, but I dont really want to do a nano-reef.... mostly cause I dont really want to invest into MH lighting of another 72 Gal...

So keep the suggestions coming...

Interesting as well...

You might want to think about a nonphotosynthetic reef tank, if you want to do another reef. Although it will take some work to keep the creatures alive.

Thats true also... and the problem with that is this tank wil be in the basement, so just because of that I would like something not to hands on in-terms of spot feeding...

BTW is it true that there are not Seahorses that would work at reef temps?

Sorry, one more post > A small chunck of info

Optimum temperature is dependent on whether the seahorse species being kept are tropical, subtropical or temperate

1) Tropical species should be kept at 74-78 degrees F (24-26 degrees C)

2) Subtropical species should be kept at 70-74 degrees F (22-25 degrees C)

3) Temperate species should be kept at 66-72 degrees F (19-22 degrees C)

Well my first thought was a SH tank with pipe fish, a few shrimp goby and pistol combos, etc... so its encouraging to hear about some SH's that could do about 79 deg.... any thoughts on some that would work out?....

Also what about a lionfish type of tank?...
