In copepods I said I was going to be around home for the summer. Then this morning I found out I could be sent (expenses paid) to work in Hawaii for a month... so the wife and I will be there all july. But no copepods! and the ground ive gained on my tank in the last month will likely be lost unless I can get my family to do water changes :c).

Not that I am complaining!

Any suggestions of what to do there would be great! My plans are (outside of work of course) a lot of snorkeling and hiking! going to be staying on waikiki beach.

I try to do water changes just twice a year. There over rated IMO. I've been doing the bi yearly thing for atleast 10 years or more. IMO Corals like stability, change water changes parameters.

painkiller - good guess, but no, dog and i will not be running down convicts together ;c)

Kreeger - I don't have any automated system getting calc in my tanks so i either use two part or water changes to keep the calc high enough.
