I notice that you have what appears to be an ETSS 1000. How many bioballs are in the downdraft tube? Did you remove any in order to enhance the performance of the skimmer?

Puffer - I'm assuming that saltycreefer is referring to the sediment filter on canar's RO/DI unit.
