Ok To Place Torch and Frogspawn Next To Each Other?

Hi All,

Looking to purchase a torch coral and would like to have it next to a frogspawn where they would be touching each other. Is this ok?

Thanks,

Actually NO they can not go next to each other. Yes they are both Euphyllia but the torch is different and can/will sting the hell out of either frogspawn or hammers. Now it's ok to have hammers and frogspawn next to each other.

I've got 4 different torches together and they're fine. My hammers and frogspawn are all together and they're fine. BUT I would never put a torch with the others. It might be OK for a little while but eventually the torch will kill them.

My torch has attacked my frogspawn and hammers on occasion. I wouldn't stich them to close

Agreed with the above, kindof, I had an area where I had frogs, hammers, and torches together. They all seemed fine. I wasn't getting much extension or growth. As soon as I moved the torch to the other side of the tank they all looked much better. The torch didn't kill the other corals but apparently constantly bothered them.

Mt torch is getting so large I'm going to diy a frag rack and keep him away from everyone. Might as well use all my tank's real estate.
