OK to proceed???

I would like to take a complete stalk of this colt coral off the rock
(see pic). Can I cut it all the way down at the base?
If so, I would like to move it to another smaller rock and super glue gel it for placment.

super glue doesnt usually work on those corals- they change shape a bit, and pop right off the rock. Depending on the exact kind of coral it is, it might be sensitive to the glue itself and just kind of melt down. I would try moving a smaller branch and see how it acclimates before I would cut through the main "trunk"
