I changed out my carbon thursday. Rinsed it well as always water was clear a good 20min rinse added it to my carbon bag placed in sump. Now I have carbon dust in my skimmer in the main display everywhere. Tank is real dark looking what a pita any sugestions ???

bad quality carbon, or you didnt wash it well.
is the skimmer still working?
you may need to wipe glass from time to time.

black diamond carbon, used this stuff for years. 20 min rinse is a long soak for sure. skimmer is running like crazy thick black crap

I have never heard of carbon doing that after a 20 min rinse. If you have one avaiable you might want to hang a canister on the tank to assist in the clean up.
