Ok, which to pick, this or this? Help me decide please

Ok, I was going to do the MJ mod but I think I will pass. I already have a seio 620 and a 185 GPH return on my filter in the tank. I am either going to get a seio 1500 and just stop at the one powerhead to make 50x the flow or should I go with 2 more seio 620s making 3 seio 620s and the return pump? The seios I would take the bottom peice off and make it that big wide stream like a MJ Mod would be for that wide flow and not jet like flow. So I could have 1 seio 620 and 1500 and my return, maybe shooting the 2 seios opposite each other to crash into each other, or I could do the 3 seio 620s and the return and then maybe place one to crash into the other and the third seio in the middle just to make it a little more random but not as hard a flow, but still the same amount of flow.

first...do you have any problems with heat?

wattage on the pumps can make a difference if you do

Meaning like fluctuations in heat? I don't think so that much, if I do I have a extra spare heater the same size as mine in the tank used for mixing salt I can throw in there at night if it does get cold.

I think serioussnaps was asking if you have problems with your temp being on the high side. Adding extra powerheads means adding extra heat to the tank. maybe not alot, but will add some. In the case of a seio 1500, that is a heck of a powerhead. I have two on my 90. I keep them angled where they bounce, or defuse if you prefer, the flow off of the front center of my tank. If my tank wasn't an acrylic with a euro brace, I would have water on the floor. I am considering getting two maxi-jet mods to repalce the seios for more flow and less electricity usage now.
