Okay dating couple?

HI there.

I put a smaller clown in with my female about a month or so ago. And while he has done the "twitch" or seizure so my kids call it.
He has done it many times. And she will let him in the nem just lately.
They hang out regularily but he still goes back to his frilly mushrooms. Sometimes she will go hang out by him. And then she goes back to her nem and he stays at the mushrooms and then joins her in a few min and then goes back. Oh yes and he sleeps alone in his mushrooms..lol I just want to scream

So what is going on here? Will they eventually fully pair up or should i move this little guy to my nano and try with a new one?

i have had quite a few clowns in a short amount of time. lost them through trial and error. last one i lost in the powerhead. in answer to your question, i bought a new clown, it paired up right away. i have had other do the same. not sure why yours aren't. BTW, i have false perc's.

Yah i dunno what there problem is. They are both true percs and they do pair up but they don't in the same sentence! They are both very pretty and do hang out but he kinda seems like he is scared of her
She was pretty rough on him in the beginning but has now warmed up to him. He has done the "shake" and they are together alot of the time but he still makes his way back to the mushrooms and sleeps alone.

sounds like they will pair in time
