Okinawa SPS and others

As requested, started it's own thread with photos. Enjoy btw, this reef is only a few min from my house. I'm out there every other day freediving. Here's 10. The photos were taken with a mix of my old point and shoot which succumbed to a good saltwater soaking and My canon G10 with Ikelite ds-51 strobe.

Where is this place? Wow why have a reeftank when you have massive coral garden near you.

No problemo drawman. The photos were all taken in Okinawa, little island south of Japan. There's always a reason to have a reef tank

This is so interesting. I've never seen any diving photos from that part of the world before. BTW, I just recently learned the difference between Japan and Okinawa--one of my coworkers is Okinawan and explained it to me. I'll have to show her this thread. I think she'd get a kick out of it.

Mordoff, I haven't found any as of yet, however, there was a sea mine found just a couple years ago. And apparently there's still LOTS of unexploded ordinance in the forests here.
