Old anemones better?

I was wondering if older anmones are better to buy then the younger ones? Do they have a better survial rate? I got a older anemone and put him in the tank he hasn't move and seems to be doing great. Another question is how can you tell if the clown is feeding the anemone?

was the anemone in another reefers tank or was it just big??? what do you mean by old?

you would know if the clown was feeding in its best to make sure its eating and feed at least once or twice a week

Sorry I meant bigger not new spawns. I am gonna post a pic of my 2 week old anemone to see what you guys think.

Don't depend on your clowns to feed it. Give it some silversides.
