OK I have 1 percula from a mated pair and I know he was the smaller male that was getting pushed around, unfortunately the mated female died for a few months.
I looked at many LFS believe it or not they are not usually available, after a few months I found one today, I have no idea of it's sex but upon introducing he is constantly chasing the new clown and biting anywhere he can.
I want to know if the original male will settle down. Although one thing is very strange, the tank is 4' wide and I don't know why the new guy insist of following and then getting his butt kicked (he is slightly smaller).
Since I have no idea of the new clown's gender, can clowns change their sex back and forth to form a pair again?
