great shot...i was wondering how you made the picture look raised off of the gray backround???

Not meaning to hijack, but if you want to reproduce that particular affect in PS its pretty easy.

First, if CS3 its easiest just to make your background layer a smart object. In CS2 or lower you need to rename it. Whatever you want, just not background.

Then click on layer effects. The button on the bottom of your layers pallette that looks like am italisized f.

In that case it looks like he used bevel and emboss, outer glow and a drop shadow. You can experiment with defferent setting as far as size, opacity, and light source to see what you like best.

Next, creat a new layer. Drag it to the bottom of the stack.

Go to image--canvas size, click relative and add your desired mat size. Example if you wanted a 1 inch border around the photo, you would put 1 inch in the width and height boxes.

Then set your forground color to the desire mat color and hit control-backspace.

Viola, your done
