Yeah but I'm sure if you visit places like Sharksreef, Sea Schor, Oceans Floor, Coral Paradise, or Menards you will see they have better service and drastically lower prices. I'm not talking a few bucks either. They dont tell prices over the phone because even they know its too high. The workers are very arrogant too, I will never forget when I was there I was talking to a employee there about the shedd and he said "I visited the reef exhibit, I wasnt impressed (laughs) . The shedd came here asking for advice from us, you know for filteration and specimans" end quote. I mean come one, thats just a stupid thing to make up.

I agree......but come on, to be in this hobby ya gotta have $$$$$$ to do it for real, I only have a 24 G NC, but moving on to bigger things this year real soon, just bought my first house in Park Ridge, doing a 29 gallon reef, the rest all FOWLR.......gotta love them Eells and stingrays and Puffers.......Sharks? Back to the point, I agree, I know who you're talking about Zoalander.....but, I think that's a rumor possibly, he is cocky.......but not when you get to know him......just DON'T go in there acting like you know everything/have all the cash in the world........he treats you cool, just like everyone in there does with me though now. TRUST ME............I'm not special at all! Just listen, respect.......that's all.......guess it dosn't help that I work for the company that provides all these crappy little Aquatic companies with all their HIGH END ballasts Good luck though bro......not speaking for them or you. Trust me.

As a former sales rep for an aquarium supply company I can tell you its not just the customers they give a hard time to. the rules they had for us to come by and do demos or pitch this months sales or even give free product was ridiculus I stopped going to see them for that reason and would not tell anyone to shop OLD ORCHARD

Ocean Design for sure, they q'tine ALL their fish for two week before putting them out for sale. They are all very knowlegable and most importantly, no attitudes. But Rod's for anything else, of course.

Matt does have great pricing on fish, he is also a pretty cool guy. His pet monkey, i mean his assistant scotty is pretty cool too...!
