old PC bulbs

What should i do with my old bulbs? There has to be something to do with them besides toss them. Just because I can't use them on my tank any more, does'nt mean somebody else does'nt have a use for them. If I do have to toss them, is there a way I should do it?

I usually just throw them out in a box with the normal garbage.

try selling them if they have life left

throwing them out requires you to wrap it in paper or something and smash it. They make a kel "poop" noise

I don't think breaking them is a good idea. Fluorescent bulbs have trace levels of mercury in them, and should be recycled properly.

and if you feel like you still have to break it anyway, you should probably do it outside. good luck!
