old rio pump

Hey tom I pulled that rio 3100 off my skimmer and hooked up the mag 5 and I was playing around with rio. I'm hooking up a propeller to it just for fun, but I need a longer shaft for it. Do you know if you can use tungsten or titanium in the tank?

you can definately use titanium. not sure about tungsten

Use either titanium or carbon fiber

I would like some advice on my water quality And would like to put something in this thing, not sure what I should start with. I'll get some water quality specs for you to take a look at. I've done a number of water changes so I'll get back to you soon.

It was nice to meet you and Jeff your tanks look great. I'm warming up to the idea of the sump in the garage. When I get my levels up in my tank i'll bring a sample by just to double check.

My only concern is that I may still be high in nutrient. Is there any way to test for that ?

Nitrates and Phosphates. I have both tests.
