I was wondering if anyone uses an Olympus E-500 or similar. I would be interested to see what settings you use for taking your pictures. I can get good color with a custom white balance, but am having issues with just the actinics. Any input would be great.
I started taking pictures in RAW mode and am having much better luck with my colors. I havent taken any with RAW under the actinics. I am going to try this weekend after my new light arrives. I also found a macro lens for 185 that has gottern good reviews. That went on my xmas list.
A camera is a camera...the laws of physics apply to all of them equally. Therefor the settings on an Olympus, Canon, Nikon, Pentax, or Sony will be very very similar across the board.
Here's a freehand pic of a caterpillar I took with the macro lens. It was taken with the camera in macro mode and no processing was done. I just cropped it.
