OM help

[Shark Keeper]

I am currently using a OM for flow but it keeps clogging.

Anyone still using one and do you have any issues with it? More and more it is getting to be a nuisance than much help. I am thinking about just removing the Om and using the pump all out through four outlets for flow.

Thoughts and suggestions welcome!

 

[Easily Distracted]

I was having clogging issues at one point a while ago and was disassembling it every few days. I believe I had an imballance in my cal/mg and was getting a lot of either calcification or precipitate that would jam the drum. I changed the parameters and haven't touched it since. Oh. One other thing I did was lube the area by the magnets with blumbers high temp grease when I did maint. I did nothing for the before mentioed problem but should help with longevity.
