omg! open brain has a hole

My beautiful open brain that inflates to over six inches now has a hole near its mouth. I saw another place where the skeleton seems to have ripped it. The past two days I have had bad pH swing downwards and figured that was why it wasn't inflating. My clown likes to host in it. Is there anything I can do? Will it make it? I'm going to move it to another tank that is connected to this one to keep the clown off of it. Will the tissue regrow? It was my best coral, please help!

I'm not that experienced, nor an expert but chances are if your conditions are right, it will regrow. I have one that was pretty much destroyed in shipping and I think I damaged it more during the acclimation process but now it is thriving. It regrew into two on the same skeleton and it's been about a year. It's kind of different looking but at least it survived.

That is great to hear. It looks to have inflated slightly since being moved to the frag tank. I'm not sure how it will react to the light. That tank has 6500k 100watt output pigtail lights on it.
