Ok so glasscages will not make the sump I had plans for. They will make the 20"x20"x16" tank and sell me the acrylic to make the baffles. How hard will it be to install and cut the baffles in a prebuilt acrylic tank? The only problem I can forsee is that the tank has a 2" brace around the top. Any ideas welcome.

It's not really a problem, just measure twice and cut once!.....don't do like I did and measure once and cut twice...grrrrr

I'm not sure on acrylic. The cool thing is that since its on the inside, it doesn't matter much if the baffles leak a little bit. :)

I used glass for my sump, though, and just siliconed it in. It was uglier than crap, but gets the job done. :D

No, just the smell, the baffles, at least on my sump are well below the lip, as I wanted pleanty of room for draining in case of power outage. The rounded edges at the bottom may take a little work to get a good fit. It just takes some time is all..:)

Not hard to do for a regular sump and not caring a whole lot what it looks like (especially if they will cut the acrylic to the dims you want). Hard to do if you want them absolutely water tight (as in the ATO container you were planning) and ultra clean seams.

I have glued alot of stuff with weldon 16. I think I can make it watertight for the ATO. Like you said as long as its cut to the right sizes.
