One more skimmer question

Is the Octopus NW-200 the skimmer I want to buy for my 58 gallon tank? I have a 29 gallon sump in the stand. I'm sick of messing with the Turboflotr.

That skimmer will skim the crap out of you 58 and it will work for when you get a bigger tank too. And yes, aquacave has super fast shipping. It's the same skimmer i have, you will love it i gaurantee its waaaaaay better than a turbo floater, but be warned its ALOT bigger.

how much space do you have under the stand? I think it's like 28" tall

Aquacave says the skimmer is 24 inches tall. I have at least 28" of height under my stand, so I think I'm fine there. I have over 8 inches of clearance between the top of the sump and the top of the stand opening. It should go through that shouldn't it?

SO, if it is that much skimmer, should I get the 150 instead? I might add a 55 refugium/sump in the basement at some time. I don't want to over do it. I live in a small house, so the 58 is the biggest tank I will ever have.

Well, I ordered the NW-150 instead of the 200. I think it will still be plenty of skimmer. The turboflotor will soon be history!
