One mp 40 for 90?

Your going to want 2 for a 90 for sure. I bought both of mine used, I have a newer one and a first gen they work flawlessly. I paid around $250 for each just a thought.

I use to run two on my 90 and had great groth. I placed one on eather end and ran them in full reefcrest mode.

In my 75 I have 2-wp25 and one wp40. Granted the wp40 isn't maxed but still.....controlled with reef angel, couldn't imagine less flow in a 90

1 MP 40 in my 75 was never enough. Okay, it was great on one side, but the far side was kinda weak. You could always start with one and add the second later.

Do yourself a favor and take the plunge on the 2 mp40's. It hurts but you'll thank yourself in the long run. Using them on anti sync reef crest is awesome. You can't do that with the Chinese knockoffs that I know of.

I have 3 mp10's on my 90 and I am wanting to go up to 2 mp40's. I think there is just a little more needed for the tall 90.

The jebos are nice especially for the money!

As to flow i wouldnt use less than 2 of either pump.
I have a 50 gallon rubbermaid i am using to keep acros and am using 2 wp40s on wave mode randomly and also 2 mp40s on reefcrest to break up the waves frm the side. Its a ton of flow but i dont think you can have too much, all the acros seem to love it, even the deepwaters. Its hard to keep the water in the rubbermaid and it looks like a jacuzzi :)
I am trying to keep nubby thick branching reefcrest corals which is why i have so much flow but just want to give an example of what is possible.
