One pump multiple jobs

So I have built a 60g cube with a mag 18 return pump. I know it is way overrated for the tank. I have put three out puts with ball valves to supply multiple items. Will run the return of course at about half, pm older style skimmer that requires 7 mag for flow, and an algae scrubber. Is this a bad thing to do? Should I run three separate pumps instead?

Build a manifold with Good Valves....

OUT OF THE PUMP . Run a line up to your tank with a Valve.. Between that valve and your pump put a T . Sanitary ts are best and pay attention to there directional turn.. Off that T fitting Run pipe across the top of your Stand above your sump and install more t fittings with a Valve on each one of them.

This way you have full control . You will have to Close the t running past the manifold to get water into the Manifold...

ONE NOTE.. Always be sure to use the Manifold valve furthest from your Pump on something that will run all the time.. This will prevent air building up and air locking the manifold after a power outage...(very rare but can happen)

I Have one pump running two Tanks my pond my fuge tanks and equipment.. Its just ONE HUGE Reeflo hammerhead pump....
