One Spot Foxface/Chaeto

I am considering geting a one spot fox face to aid in my hair algae battle. And yes, I know that it is not a solution to the problem b/c I need to address the source which I am doing.

My question is that I do not have a refugium and therefore I am keeping some chaeto in the display to aid in my battle. Do these fish eat chaeto. I was wondering b/c the fish could be a bit counter-productive if it does eat chaeto.

Yup, mine does. I throw some in the main tank when I need to thin out my fuge.

My foxface seems to eat every algae except hair algae.
