Only phytoplankton?

I had planned to do an NPS tank with tree sponges, sun corals and electric flame scallops. I was curiuous as to weather or not you could keep these corals alive with only phytoplankton and mysis shrimp (in selcon)?

If not here's what else I planned on feeding;
Cyclop-eeze
Reef pearls
RF Oyster feast
Ultramin F
Ultra Clam
Live Rotifers

Is there anything on this list that isn't needed? Anything I should add? Or is just phyto good enough for these corals, and inverts?

I do not think only phyto would work.

I have read an article showing that oysters for example eat more food, with presence of phyto though so I think its wise to dose it with other foods.

for the sponges, they consume dissolved organics, bacteria and really tiny particles, less than a micron I think I have read, so should feed smaller stuff like you mentioned as well, like Min F.

I go through 1/2 gallon of phyto a week but only 1 cup a day is dosed into the tank on its own. For my sponges, terrazoanthids, gorgs, etc I mix in Ultra Min F, Ultra Seafan, Cyclopeeze; foods of that size. For larger head nps, I rinse mysid, soak in Selcon overnight then add enough phyto to where I can pull it up in my Sea Squirt to feed. Phyto is good but more as a base than a stand alone food source

I run 24/7 phyto drips on my carnation tank, but target feed the heavier foods mixed with more phyto.

Would the ultra clam be good for the flame scallop, or are these more for the larger clams that go into SPS tanks?
