Onyx Clown ?

I had a pair of Onyx clowns, one about 1.5" and the other about .5". They got along great and were doing very well. Recently the 1.5" looks like he may have taken a beating, thought he was going to pull through, seemed to be eating, but eventually died. My question is whether or not I can add another larger onyx, or if I need to wait an extended amount of time to get another small one to start a pairing all over again.

*I am not sure where the larger one was getting into a fight, as the little one never had any damage done.

All the fish should be peaceful, and I never saw it scuffle or fight with anything..
However, it did look like it had a couple scrapes and some torn/frayed fins.

There are two Scribbled Rabbitfish, and a tail spot blenny.

CUC
1 cleaner shrimp, 2 peppermint shrimp, 6 astrea snails, 1 halloween hermit, 3 small hermits, 2 tiger conches, and 1 butterscotch nasurous(sp?).

Coral
Purple Tube Anemone
Frogspawn
Xenia
Misc. Zoa's
Acans
Purple Bonzia

how long have you had them?

where did you get them from?

what size is your tank?

are you sure the rabbitfish haven't showed any aggression?

are you sure they were only 1.5" and .5" long?

The tank is a 120g 4x2x2. I purchased the fish from a LFS that has never given me any trouble, and is very reputable. I had the clowns about 2 weeks and were eating and showed no signs of stress. The rabbit fish have never shown any aggression when I was watching the tank. If something happened when I was not there, I do not know. And I am sure of the size, as the little one is still in the tank swimming in and out of the frogspawn, and maybe he is 3/4".
