I took in a few LPS corals that came from a club members tank that are completely bleeched white. One is a Candy cane coral and the other a large open brain. The Open Brain had beautiful color before it went to the tank that I received it from. His theory was that the 250 watt Halides he installed on his 75 caused it to bleech. Now i have them in a small tank on my desk that has power compact lighting hoping i can get their color back. I would love to have put them in my main reef but it is an SPS tank and the flow would be too high for these. Is there anything I can do other than regular feedings to help them recover. There has been no tissue necrosis so they can't be that bad off, just need a little TLC. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I would post a pic but there is nothing to see, just two white balls of tissue.
