Open brain coral.

I went to the store and picked up open brain yesterday. And by the time I got to the store it was half way closed and I really didn't have chance to see coral in they tank. All thelse OBC they look puffed up, but this one looks nothing like that and have spikes all around it. What's wrong with it?

Give it a chance to adjust.

I just want to make sure that's how it's suppose to look while its adjusting

I thought they should have soft body and hard plate on the bottom? That on is hard all the way)

The outer perimeter of open brains have spikes on them. You can usually see them when it's upset or closed. It's completely normal. It will adjust once it gets used to your tank and fully expand.
