My understanding is that you want to put them in the sand as opposed to rock work because when they are inflating/deflating they can rub the flesh on their underside raw causing tissue recession. This shouldn't be a problem for you. And if you have so much flow that it is actually being pushed around...Its going to be unhappy but they are fairly dense and it seems like it would take a lot of flow to do that.
As far as lighting you should be ok just start it in the shade and acclimate slowly to your lighting. If you have it in too bright of lighting it, I would guess, won't inflate fully. I just flipped through Calfo's Coral Prop book and it sounds like you should be ok. At worst you may have to keep it in partial shade.
For flow you maybe ok as well. Again I would start it in an area of lower flow and slowly move it into higher flow. Watch the open brain if it doesn't open up or otherwise seems unhappy move it to lower flow. With mine when its fully inflated the tissue gently sways in the current. The amount of suggested flow i've heard quoted is enough to remove any substrate that lands on them. Maybe try using a rock to help block/deflect flow if it seems too high.
