Open Brain stung by Anemone

My Bubble tip anemone wandered to close to my open brain coral the other day. It wasn't touching it when I found it but I have to assume it was for at least a short period of time. There is now a small area, about 1/2", along the rim of the brain that has receded. I have since relocated the brain to a safer area.

My questions are:
1. is this damage permanent?
2. if not, is there something i can do to help it?

thanks.

It's not permanent. As long as the brain is getting adequate light and your parameters are within reason, it will grow back. Pretty much just leave it alone and hope the BTA doesn't come by again.
