does anyone have any pics of what this looks like? I dont think Ive ever seen one open or with the sweepers sweeping..... help a brother out.

Also they eat diced fish right? Silversides, anchovies, etc.... Vitamin suggestions?? I picked up a really nice one yesterday, just brushing up on care. The books Ive read dont say much beyond med lighting and good flow. Got great deal and couldnt pass it up $15 for 12-18 heads.

You can feed them with the items you listed, but it is not necessary to target feed them. They grow fine with just light and leftovers from feeding the fish.

Thanks.
I saw them open last night after lights out, so theres some good news.

Any vitamin/food soaks suggested??

I spot feed mine bits of whatever I'm feeding my fish and/or anemone (obviously much smaller than what I feed my anemone), but I don't necessarily worry about using selcon or any sort of vitamins. Anyway, I bought a single frag, and it's recently split into two and looks like it's about ready to go for a third, so although spot feeding may not be required, if you want to improve the growth, I'd certainly go for it.

These are kinda fat and stubby, Ive seen the sweepers get a good 4-5 inches in length though.

Very nice coloration.

I have seen the sweepers extend up to four inches away (it was stinging a mushroom) in my nano. I seldom feed mine, but they will eat cyclop-eeze or mysis as suggested in previous posts.
