Open wounds... Medicine?

What should I do for my sailfin with opens wounds? They are from a rockslide and he tried to hide himself and made it worse. What can I do for him? He is in a QT tank now. Medication?

In general fish wounds tend to cure themselves ... depends on severity of the wound, the overall health of the fish and tank conditions. If you don't see improvement over the next week or so you should consider QTing the fish and using an antibiotic.
