Operation mode question??

I have a Gen 2 and in the manual (booklet)on page 4 where it says "Random mode Comparison example" it shows "reef crest mode" in blue, but its the same exact pattern as Lagoon Random mode in the "new operational modes" on the (single sheet) it seems as the colors are backwards blue/purple....and the whole pattern is different for the yellows???....should I disregard the manual, and go with what the single sheet says?, assuming that the manual was for Gen 1's?..........

....also on the single sheet under "advanced features" where it says pump disconnect calibration it tells you how to set up error codes so the pump will automatically shut down in case of a disconnect...but in the bigger manual it says that the pump will automatically shut down in the event of a decoupling, so why do I need to set up the error codes?...please help me figure these things out...TIA...-Mike-

The single sheet that comes in Gen2 pumps overrides the information presented in the instruction manual. We used this leaflet until we ran out of the older instruction manuals. As for the de-coupling, you must follow the programming sequence presented on the single sheet in order to enable this protection.
