Opinion on dosers

Any opinions on the brs dosing pumps?

I need 3-4 dosing pumps. Should I just save and get 2 DOS? Are there better options to look into besides brs?

I have used brs pumps flawlessly for years. I do use other dosing pumps for different applications so I can't make any recommendations until I know what you are dosing.

I have one. My tank only uses 0.2 all a day and I was told the demand was too little for the reactor. Maybe my question should have been, is 0.2 alk a day too little of a demand to use a calcium reactor? This is on a 220g system. Thanks D

Considering dosing 2 part to maintain more stable parameters, and there is a lot of buzz about the triton system that I may try in a year or so if the two part didn't work out.

I've used aquamedic doser and found it accurate and simple to use. Can add on units to increase, if needed beyond 4.

My only other question is do you have an apex?

If you own a calcium reactor it will work. I would be happy to help you set it up also.

I do have an apex. Thanks for offering to help, but I will try setting up the calcium reactor before I recruit an expert. I have more questions now so I think I will start a new post. My questions are, is there a limitation on how far away I can keep my calcium reactor? I don't have enough room under my tank for both canisters and the big co2 tank. Can I put the tank in another room? Can i put the whole setup in another room an use my apex?

Not really. Yes you can. Yes as long as the ph probe reaches.
