Opinion On Sump Placement

Ever planing the next tank..... What do you guys think about having a sump in the garage. The tank would be on the other side of the wall but was concerned about heat/cold we experience in the STL. Let me know what you think. If it will work, it could open up a lot of opportunities for equipment!

If your garage is climate controlled it could work, but likely still would be a pain.

What type of pains do you foresee

Exhaust fumes, chemicals, temperature extremes. I'd be pretty hesitant to use a garage for anything! One winter time, or even summer time power outage could be catastrophic. To each his own I suppose.

Fair enough. I may go a different route and go from the basement instead. Still planning things out and considering options.
