Opinions on my Elegance

Ive been wanting and reading a lot about EC and I finally got an Aussie Pink Tipped one. Well I'm not sure if it's opening up the way it was in the store. I've had it for three days. The first picture was taken in the open no shade and because it looked a little closed I changed positions on it and placed it slightly under a ledge. Either way it looks the same so maybe that's just the look of it but I thought they were suppose to be more open and mine has alot of curls in it's disc.

Looks beautiful. I don't know much about elegance corals though. Maybe just some time and TLC will bring it around?

Thanks. I guess we will see what the experts say but i guess I could also be me not thinking its as big as it was in the store and it may be.

Looks just like mine.

It is most likely still adjusting to your tank conditions. Let nature take its course and at most, feed mysis shrimp to it once a week. That helped mine a lot!

it looks just fine to me,i wouldnt be concerned about anything,it appears to be healthy.try feeding it some chopped up clams or mysis shrimp to.there are many mouths on these corals.

Looks great. I just picked on up an aussie pink tipped EC two weeks ago. Mine is the same, lots of folds and very happy. It accepts and eats food fast. I feed every three days, but as some say once a week should be fine. Good luck and enjoy. Gorgeous coral.

like the others mentioned. try feeding it a bigger meatier food. it will grab it with it's stinging tenticles and bring it to it's own mouth

your coral does look a bit smaller and less extended.

I have mine on the sand, in medium spuratic flow. It's about 12" across
I've had it for 2 years

Great looking piece. Maybe mine will look like that some day. Thanks everyone for all the help I'll try some nestled foods.
