Opinions on my stocklist

I have a 60 gallon w/65lbs live rock, 2penguin 350 bio wheel HOB's and 3 1000gph wave makers.
I have a lawn mower blenny, maroon clown ,Sammara squirrel fish, a GS puffer.
Would like to add a flame OR coral beauty angel , either a Khole or yellow tang and a blue spot Toby

What do you guys think?

Maybe a kole eye tang but you're pushing it for 60g. I would say a 60g tank is definitely too small for the yellow tang, but that's just my opinion. I think you'd be fine with the other assuming it's a FOWLR tank. If you're going to keep coral, I'd be careful with the angelfish or puffer.

I like the blenny, clown, toby puffer, and one of the dwarf angels.

I don't like the squirrel fish: 10" fish with venomous spines that eats crustaceans and small fish.

I wouldn't put a tang in a 60 gallon tank.

The GS (green spotted?) puffer is more of a freshwater/brackish fish, and pretty nippy/aggressive.

Regarding your current fishes, the blenny and clown are fine, although I heard lawnmower blennies are hard to feed. For the green spotted puffer, it all comes down to the personality of the fish as some are nippy while some are docile, so see how it interacts with the other fishes. I'm afraid the squirrelfish gets too large, even larger than the tangs you are interested in. Regarding your future fishes, a yellow tang is a no, while the Kole tang may or may not be pushing it, depending on rockwork and your maintenance schedule. For the angels, if it is a reef I would be careful but if it is fowlr, either is fine. The toby is ok too. Btw, with the two puffers, you may lose some of your clean up crew. Also be sure to keep up with your maintenance schedule.

Green spotted puffers stay in brackish while young, moving to saltwater as it grows older. People have kept juvies in saltwater with no ill effects as long as the tansition process is ok.

Thanks for the replies, I’m pretty much making this a Fowlr. I plan to have a CUC and don’t mind replenishing them as they get eaten. I might add some Kenya tree or Xenia, but that’s about it for corals( I get those for free from a friend with too many). With the squirrel getting bigger than i was told, I’ll definitely leave the tangs off the list. What about a dottyback in place of the tangs? I know they’re mean, but figured I could add it last after the other fish are larger.

IMHO, with the maroon already in the tank you will have trouble introducing any other fish. You may not realize it yet, but it owns that tank. Even if it is small now, soon enough it will start going after you when you do water changes, and I'd hope that your arm is bigger than any fish you might try to add.

Consider trading it in, and then then try again as a last fish. You might also take a look at the cherub or flameback dwarf angels - although they stay fairly small (a plus IMO) they both have plenty of attitude and can be quite striking to look at.
