What does everyone use or would suggest? i dont have super good water pressure in my apt, so i know i'll probably be using a higher GPD RO/DI unit...well i guess ill have to find out what PSI my water is at. (im tired of lugging jugs of water up the stairs and i get unlimited water here)

as long as you are above 40 psig you are fine. lack of water pressure may be because of the heads not the pipes if your lucky. john builds very good units with better filters than most. .5 micron .5 micron dow membrane and nuclear grade di resin. you won't find a better price of same quality. john = fish and other ichthy stuff

100 gallon membranes of any manufacturer are not wanted because they are constructed differently and do not work as well. if that is what you mean at least. what you want for the highest 10 inch is a 75 gallon per day membrane. this is at 40psig. at 60 psig you would get close to 90 . that is why spectrapure advertises 90 gpd. they rate at 60 psig because I guess it is what they recommend to run at. at 80 psig or whatever the booster pump gives you will give you more output with less waste water but the pumps are expensive in my opinion and can always be added later. john can get the pumps for you if you want them and everything needed to hook them up. he uses one at his store so he might also take the time to help you with setting it up.
