Opinions please?????

they are made by odyssea and you can also find them on aquatraders.com.

i bought mine a yer ago and havent changed the bulb or ballast yet like people will urge you to do and i have NO problems whatsoever with it.

it works great and it lights everything up great. my only suggestion to you is to make sure you get the non magnetic ballast ones...aka the electronic balast.

people will talk alot of poo about these lights without actually having owned them because they hear from other people who hear from other people.

i bought mine for a 29g so its a 30" long fixture and length wide its perfect but width wise i have to tell you its wider than my tank by about 2 inches on oth front and back. so if you have a canopy already id make sure it fits in there before hand. i wasnt so lucky so i had to rebuild my canopy to properly fit it.

ofcourse you can have them without a canopy since they are slim and dont look bad at all.

If I bought it I would make sure that I had additional cooling fans. The problem that Odyssea had a couple years ago was not the light it was the cooling fans. They have been known to stop working and either heat up the tank or catch fire. I've never owned one but did a lot of research before going with a retro kit.
