ORA German blue digi

I picked up a ORA German blue digi a few months ago. It was doin' great under PCs and even better onced moved under T-5s. Awhile back, when I was workin' in the tank, I bumped it and broke it off it's base. It had it's color before then, but I ended up regluin it and put it back in the same spot. It has turned brown now. I'm seein' new growth though. You think it will eventually color back up?

What is your nitrate and phosphate level?

A little bit of phosphate and it can brown out. I suspect that whatever is occurring is unrelated to the regluing event.

couldnt tell you phosphate, never tested it, but Nitrates show 0. Probably not accurate, it's the aquarium pharm (cant remember the exact name). Its alwasy shown 0 though. Everything else is fine though. My purple cap is really purple, my green digi is green, my green birdsnest and pink birdsnest all look good. This one looked good until it snapped. I even have a purple acro that i got from ac awhile back. It probably isnt as purple as it could be, but it looks good and polyps are always out. I dont know...

How old are your bulbs? Mine always starts to brown out when my halides are reaching the end of their life. Other than that, I would try giving it a little more light (move it up) if you think your nutrients are fine.

They like high high light... I had them higher than just about anything else and it thrived.

ok, I'll try and move it closer to the light and see if that help. Thanks for the info.
