This is a coral that defines Darwinism. It was a total loss I thought at one point, less then a 1/4 inch of flesh left when it decided to recover. This was originally a frag from tony that was in poor health when I got it and he asked me to try and save it..It was dormant for many months then started to STN.I wrote it off as a loss.A few weeks later I noticed a polyp extended at the very top of the bleached skeleton.A week or 2 later it started to lay down new flesh over the bleached skeketon and then shortly there after new growth tips.I just moved it into my DT and its taking off now.doubled in size in 3 weeks.
Survival of the fittest for sure here. These ORA corals are hardy.
