Orange Decorator Crab

So I just ordered a decorator from Caribbean Fish and More, along with a little Polka-dotted Hermit crab, and was wondering what I could get for him to wear around the house. Also I'm interested in hearing some decorator stories.

Here's some pictures of the little guys I got from CFM's eBay store.

Once I get the little guy I'll try to better identify him, atleast more than "Orange Decorator Crab", should be fun!

You don't need to get him anything. Mine just grabbed some rock off the bottom and a piece of alage. At one point it was wearing part of the exo-skeleton(or whatever it is) from the sally light foot after it molted. Sometimes I'll find small snails on him. Kinda funny!!

That reminds me of what urchins will do sometimes, just like pick up snails and hermits and take them around the tank.

I put a decorator in an isolated container with multi-colored gravel in it once. Once it started wearing some of the gravel, I placed it into the main display. It kept them for a couple of weeks and then changed it out. I don't think they like to wear anything that makes them stand out. Or, they might just naturally change their attire on a regular basis.
