FYI. We have added a new topic to the ORCA Forum. The topic is called ORCA Frag Auction. It can be found http://www.o-r-c-a.com/modules.php?name=Forums Scroll down and you will see the new link.

I would suggest to all those who plan to bring frags to an ORCA meeting please do the following: Take pics of your frags and store them at Photobucket or other similar photo hosting site. Then post your pictures on the ORCA Frag Auction Forum site prior to the ORCA meeting. I suggest identifying your individual coral pictures by your initials followed by a number.

For example, if I post a picture of a Purple Cap, I might label the picture MAKPC1. When I bring that frag to auction, the bag will also have a label with MAKPC1 written on it.

I'm not afraid to stand behind the frags I bring to auction. You will all know which frags are mine.

If a frag is auctioned and there is no identifying label or reference to a photo or member, then I would simply suggest that you as a buyer be cautious and bid on that coral at your own discretion and risk.

One might assume that those who make the effort to post pics of their corals are displaying good integrity and willing to go that extra mile.

Let's give it a shot and see how it goes. I think you'll all find this is a great way to preview what is going to be available.

Matt
