ORCA President 2007~2008
Hello ORCA members,
I want to bring to everyone’s attention that membership dues are now due for 2007. Current memberships will expire at the end of January unless you’ve purchased a two year membership. If you have not done so already, please go to the ORCA Web site and download and complete a membership application. ORCA requires a new application be completed for each year of membership, regardless of old membership.
I am including the links to where the applications are located
Our membership application can be found at http://www.o-r-c-a.com/images/Application.pdf
If you do not have a pdf reader, you can download one here: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/foxitreader/foxitreader.zip
Member applications will also be available at our regular scheduled meeting. Please see Melissa (Secretary), Pam (Treasurer) or me to get one. Please know that this is the first “New ORCA Board Officers†first meeting of the year and I fully expect us all to be running around like crazy trying to get the meeting underway. So anything you can do to help minimize the time it takes to get your application completed would be greatly appreciated. So, download the application, fill it out (legibly) and come prepared with a check or cash only.
Also know that our local sponsors, i.e. Ocean Blue, Seven Seas and others and looking to see your “current†ORCA Membership card in order to get your 10% or 15% discounts. The sooner we get your application and fee, the sooner we will get your 2007 membership card sent out.
Last note: ORCA is actively seeking members who would be willing to open their homes for a future meeting. Sign up sheets will be available at the meeting also. Please consider hosting a meeting in 2007. This is a great cub with great members who would really enjoy seeing your aquarium and how you make your hobby successful. It’s also a great way to receive good strong feedback on your Reef and Aquarium system.
The frequency and quality of our meetings ultimately resides with each and every ORCA member. Let’s all work together and make 2007 the best year ORCA has seen yet!
Thanks everyone and see you Saturday,
Matt Kantz
