My current build

Added sand, OG Sno, and my old school Aqua C Remora

8 feet of crystal clear water. Having issues with the tank and I think I know what it might be. When I was transferring the lights I dropped a washer and couldn’t find it. I may have to pull the rocks out and go fishing with a magnet.

Well, I redid the aquascape since I had to pull all the rocks out to drag a magnet around looking for a washer

I rebuilt an old vertex puratek. I’m using 2 75 gpd membranes. The 2 waste lines T into a single drain and then go through the auto flush system. Should my flow restrictor be 75 gpd or 150 gpd? My municipal water sucks. It’s basically well water. Should I use a less restrictive flow restrictor? I’m running a chloramine monster and 3 carbon blocks before the membranes.

Thanks in advance Vance’s for the advice

Good question. You could either use (2) 75 gpd FRs after the membranes but, BEFORE the T or (1) 150 FR after the T.

It’s after the T because of the auto flush. When the solenoid valve opens it bypasses the flow restrictor. So the 150 it is.
