orca website

I talked to John more. It seemed pretty simple to him the site is OK, but other tech is the issure. He said he would post soon.

Had something a problem sort of like this before at one of my customers. Did updates and internet explorer turned on the phishing filter. I ended up driving to the customer site, turned off the phishing filter, and voila it was up and running again.

well i tired it when i got home and it didn't work. should i go through the same steps that paul was asking me to do and then do that after?

Just for yucks try accessing the website through these two other URL's from the computer that is giving you problems.
http://74.54.160.158/
http://www.o-r-c-a.org

Obviously, make sure your cookies are cleared first.

Another idea might be to try Firefox.

okay i was able to fix it. in the manga add-ons i disabled the only 2 this the where inabled which were shockwave and agcontrol class from microsoft and that seemed to do the trick. i'll do a couple of post and reply back

As of this morning

There seems to be a problem with the MySQL server, sorry for the inconvenience.

We should be back shortly.

I don't know if anyone's written any flash on the orca website Joe but the first one is, I assume, Shockwave flash player. That tends to need to be updated all the time in order to work (it is possible that by updating you could fix it if it was that particular one.

The other addon you have appears to be a connection with Audio Galaxy which is a program for file sharing.

You could probably determine if it was one, or both preventing you from posting by keeping one on and attemping to do what you were doing before with another turned off. Very interesting that either of those would prevent you from posting but I almost want to guess it would be shockwave if your version isn't updated.

Depending on where you browse you may need the plugin to see parts of websites which is why I mention trying to see which was breaking your ability on orca to post. Seems very obscure to interrupt your posting, though.

website info:

error message:

"There seems to be a problem with the MySQL server, sorry for the inconvenience.

(WWW.O-R-C-A.COM 04-14-2008, 10:22 am),

SAME WITH .ORG

WITH : http://74.54.160.158/ the error message is:

The connection has timed out

The server at 74.54.160.158 is taking too long to respond.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

then at 10:31 the .com and direct address have the "connection has timed out" message and the .org address says:

"The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

connection.

Juicey, thanks. I was trying to access the site at the same time.
We're having some sort of problem with our webhosting company. I've got a system monitoring it right now that hopefully will give them information to help resolve this issue.
