Order issue... Premiumaquatics selling used items labeled as new!!!

I made an order from premiumaquatics recently and I have generally had really good experiences with them, but did want to put this out there to warn others to check.

I bought a Maxspect hanging kit from them:

So, what do I find when I open it:

A couple of strange things, some of it has already been assembled, some of the bags seem to have already been handled roughly and I"m actually missing the suspension cables needed to hang the light? Also, there are score marks on the aluminum components that suggest that the unit has already been used. "***" I say to myself? Most likely this was a return that was not thoroughly checked and then sold as new again! If I wanted to buy a used setup, I would have looked on here! Also, some of the wires are all bent and twisted like they have already been used. Not cool at all.

This is a huge pain in the butt as now I will have to send it back and wait for another one. Ugh. The guy who sent it back in should be given 15 lashes for trying to pull of this stunt!

They are Great people if you ever have a problem just email or call them and the problem will be fixed and you will be happy.they are real easy to work with.i'm glad you got this resolved.
 
Yep, it was resolved quickly and fairly. Just a surprise to get something that has been so blatantly used and is actually missing parts.

The rest of the order arrived in good condition. I am very happy with the expediency and way the issue was handled.

Just wanted people to be on the lookout, because even premiumaquatics returns review department will occasionally let somethings through.

Our returns department (that's me only) let's things slip through every now and then, sorry about that! ;)
